Who We Are

The Equalizer Group is not a part of or represent itself as a “law-firm”. Nor are we some type of “collection agency”. We are a victim advocacy organization. When a victim comes to us and tells us about their case we spend quite a bit of time investigating and looking into the merits of the matter. We then look into the backgrounds and names of the people who are reported to us or the company they own or represent. By the time we contact the offending party, we have already determined that what they did and how they did it was unjust.
When the individual(s) decide they want to keep the ill gotten gains we then take action to prevent them from hurting other citizens. We shoot out emails and disseminate press releases that will go to thousands of media outlets and scam alert web cites that tie into millions of blogs and forum boards around the world. Federal and state authorities get alerted along with those key people in law enforcement or former law enforcement who know how to push hard for full investigations. Most scam artists who rip people off chalk it down as a loan they received that simply never got paid back. They summarily spend the money and never pay the taxes on it. The IRS is most interested in hearing about these individuals and a file is sent to the right department to insure action and audits take place! I also think it best to mention that this is just a small portion of iceburg and there are over a dozen other proprietary efforts that get put into play. The aggregation of which result in much more aggressive action and efforts against the people or companies determined to be at fault.
At the end of the day, this is about right and wrong. Once we are on the case we do not give up until justice is done. One way or another we fight until a resolution is acheived and funds are are returned to their rightful owners or the offending party is brought to justice civilly, criminally, morally or all three. Many of those we have pursued who have not righted their wrongs are now in prison, have been shut down by state or federal agencies, or can not even find work at McDonalds because their name has been rightfully tarnished by their misconduct and ill treatment of others’ trust. In the end those involved have no one to blame but themselves.
